Privacy Policy
- Your privacy is important to us. We, Steadfast Money Transfer Pte Ltd, conduct our business in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”). This Privacy Policy aims to help you understand how we collect, use, disclose and retain your Personal Data.
- This Privacy Policy supplements but does not replace any other consent which you may have previously provided to us. We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time, and you agree to be bound by the prevailing terms of the Privacy Policy. We will make available the updated policy on our website www.steadfastmoneytransfer.com and at our branch in Singapore
- Personal data is defined under the PDPA as data about an individual who can be identified from that data or from that data and other information to which the organisation has or is likely to have access. Some examples of the information we collect include:
- General identification and contact information, such as name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, gender, marital status;
- Identification numbers issued by government agencies, such as NRIC, passport number, FIN;
- Financial and employment information, such as bank account number, account details, occupation, income levels, tax and insurance information;
- Your interaction with us, such as images, CCTV footage and voice recordings of our interactions with you; and
- Other information which you have provided us, such as specimen signatures, photos and personal opinions you have made known to us; and
- Information from other organisations, including money laundering / terrorism financing information sources, authorised financial institutions or business directories.
- You consent to us and our authorised service providers and third parties collecting, using, disclosing and/or processing your personal data for the purposes of:
- Verifying your identity;
- Processing your registration,
- Communicating effectively with you;
- Developing and providing services, including but not limited to processing and executing transactions and clearing or reporting on those transactions;
- Responding to inquiries or feedback;
- Conducting screening, due diligence, risk assessment and monitoring activities;
- Detecting and preventing fraud, unlawful or improper activities;
- Assessing and processing instructions or requests from you;
- Promoting complementary products or services to you from business partners with whom we have formed an association;
- Addressing or investigating any complaints, claims or disputes;
- Conducting surveys, research, planning and statistical analysis;
- Coaching employees and providing quality assurance;
- Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, rules, directives, instructions and requests from any local or foreign authorities, including regulatory, governmental, tax and law enforcement authorities;

collectively, the “Purposes”. Where you have provided personal data relating to other individuals (such as family members or other third parties), you warrant that you are authorised to provide their personal data to us and you have obtained their consent to the collection, use, disclosure and processing of their personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
- We may from time to time and in compliance with all applicable laws, disclose or transfer your personal data to third parties including:
- Business partners we work with to deliver services you have registered for;
- Service providers and data processors providing services such as marketing, accounting, hosting and maintenance services, analysis services, email message services, delivery services, handling of payment transactions;
- Our consultants and professional advisers (such as accountants, lawyers, auditors), in order to carry out the Purposes. Such third parties may be located in Singapore or elsewhere. Please be assured that when we disclose your personal data to such parties, we require them to ensure that any personal data disclosed to them are kept confidential and secure.
- You may withdraw your consent for us to collect, use or disclose your personal data by giving us reasonable notice so long as there are no legal or contractual restrictions preventing you from doing so. However, if you withdraw consent for us to use your personal data, we will be unable to provide you with the services you have requested for.
- We will take all reasonable efforts to ensure that your personal data collected by us or on our behalf is accurate and complete.
- Do be assured that we protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or disposal by having physical, technological and organizational safeguards in place that are appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.
- You may request to access or make corrections to your personal data held by us. We may charge a fee for processing your request for access. Such a fee depends on the nature and complexity of your access request. We may be prevented by law from complying with your request. We may also decline your request if we are permitted to by law.
- We will keep your personal data only for a period of 5 years, as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected and as required for business, legal or regulatory purposes. Once your personal data is no longer required for these purposes, we will destroy or anonymise the data.
